About CAT- Common Admission test popularly known as CAT, is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year for management aspirants. It is conducted by IIMs themselves. It comprises three sections, namely verbal ability and reading comprehension, quantitative ability and data interpretation and logical reasoning. This exam is mandatory for most of the IIMs in the country. 

• Once the results of the entrance exams are out, students can apply to different institutions. Different Institutions shortlist students on the basis of the percentile obtained in CAT, past academic performance in class 10th, class 12th and graduation.
• Work experience is highly valued, especially related to the specialisation applied for.
• After that Institutions conduct their own written tests and personal interviews.
• The final selection list is made and displayed bythe respective institutions.
• A provisional admission letter is issued to the selected candidates.

Fee Structure 

1. The fees for pursuing a 2-year MBA in Human Resource Management are around 15 to 25 lakhs in the top IIMs of our country.
2. However, private colleges may charge around 10 to 15 lakhs for the total course.
3. The fee structure may vary depending on the NIRF rankings and brand value of the different institutions.

1. Any graduate is eligible to apply for an MBA in Human Resource Management, provided they have secured a minimum percentage of marks in graduation without any backlogs
