What is the Admission Process?

  2. Almost all the colleges offer it now.
  3. You should apply for the common university entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency every year after the board exams are over. It is an MCQ-based test comprising around 800 marks.
  4. After that, apply for admission to different colleges, presenting your CUET score.
  5. Universities and colleges allocate seats based on the rankings obtained in CUET UG.
  6. If you get yourself a seat allocated in the seat allocation system, you should not waste time and pay the fee within the time period allotted by the institute to confirm your admission and secure your seat. 

Fee Structure 

  1. The average fee for a BBA in finance is around Rs 40000/- to 50000/- per year, which means you can get your BBA in finance degree within 2 to 3 lakhs for the total course in a decent BBA college
  2. However, if you enrol in a government college like a Delhi University College, the overall fee is much lower, and you can get your degree even within one lakh rupees. 
  3. On the other hand, some private universities can charge you around 5 to 7 lakhs for the total course. 

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. Any student who has given the class 10 + 2 examination and is awaiting their results, or students who have completed class 10 + 2 from any recognised board and have also obtained a minimum percentage of marks, generally around 50%, are eligible to apply for BBA in finance.
  2. Although students from any background can pursue a BBA in finance. However, it is seen that mostly commerce students choose this specialisation. There is no maximum or minimum age criterion as such. 

What Are The Career Options After a BBA in Finance?

After completing a BBA in finance, the following career options are available to a candidate-

  1. A student can pursue a professional course like CFA, CA or CS.
  2. Secondly, a graduate in BBA finance can easily get a starting-level job in the corporate sector, getting a salary of around 5 to 7 lakhs per annum in core financial roles.
  3. A BBA in finance graduate can further pursue an MBA in finance to get a managerial-level job in the finance sector, working as a finance manager.
  4. Finance graduates can appear for examinations like banking or other competitive examinations, such as the SSC.
